Fairview is a multistoried library with a glass-enclosed flight of stairs at the front, with a stream of people with laptops in knapsacks, ascending and descending, like a stairway to heaven. At the rear, facing Don Mills Shopping Centre were withered remnants of ivy. This is an exploration of those two images, as well as left brain and right brain activities, and manmade and organic.
