Downsview Library's south garden has a metal trellis where wisteria and Virginia creeper hang and this heart-shaped mass of foliage is sympathetically rendered by the paper. Composed of swirling fibres of wood, it seems that the paper itself is entering into the conversation. For those library goers who have never noticed this garden, here is a quote from The Ultimate Plant Book, Kate Bryant and Tony Rodd, Raincoast books, Vancouver: "Wisterias are a magnificent sight when in bloom with . . .abundant, long, racemes of ... mauve flowers that are often highly scented. "
