8 x 10, gouache
Ward 40 Scarborough-Agincourt
Councillor Norm Kelly
A child, a parent and a book. The birth of a lifelong love of knowledge.
This gouache painting might be a chance to talk about methods of indoor work. My first media choice for "indoor plein air" was that of markers (New Toronto and Walter Stewart), from which I moved to gouache and watercolour ((Agincourt and Wychwood) and finally to full on oil (Richview). I did expect for someone to warn me off the premises but no-one, neither patron nor staff paid the slightest attention. I reasoned that I was simply doing what everyone else does, gathering information and minding my own business. Thank you, public library users and staff.
