When my wife and I were first married in 1978, we lived on Edith Drive (Yonge-Eglinton) and the Northern District was our "walking distance" library. It was one of the best things about living in what has come to be called "Young and Eligible". The Stanley Knowles Co-op (seen on the right) hadn't yet been built and by the time you read this, the crane on the left will have gone, replaced by another towering condo building.
